Events on the brain
Event season is in full swing here in Grinnell.  The Farmers Market is underway until 6 tonight so be sure to stop by on your way home. Music in the Park also begins tonight at 5:30pm, and the opening reception for the Local Artists Celebration exhibit is tonight from 5 to 6:30. I'm currently staffing a community information booth at Grinnell College to help welcome 1,400 college alumni and friends to town for Alumni Reunion. I've gotten a lot of wonderful compliments from alumni about how beautiful everything looks and how much they always look forward to trips back to Grinnell.

Our office has become a whirlwind of event preparations as we gear up for our busiest June ever. We're looking forward to Standing Hampton taking the stage at Friday Fest next Friday, June 6, on Main Street. The following weekend is Grinnell Games (June 13-15), and the weekend after that is Monte Fest, the big country bash in Montezuma (June 21). We're so excited to be a part of all of these community events, and we hope to see you out at all of them. If you're able to help us out by volunteering for any of our events in June, please reply to this email and let me know. I would really appreciate your help. Have a fabulous evening!
