See you soon!
Next week is an exciting week! We hope to see you soon at Jingle Bell Holiday, the Amazing Chase or Grinnell Connect (hopefully all 3!).
The Grinnell Connect networking group is hosting a Happy Hour Social next Wednesday from 4 to 6pm at the Peppertree. This group is a great way to grow your personal and professional network. Events are open to anyone who is interested in making connections. If you know a newcomer or young professional looking to meet new people, please forward them this information. Click here for all the details.
Jingle Bell Holiday, presented by Bill's Jewelry, is next Friday, Nov. 22. There will be carriage rides, the Amazing Chase, photos with Santa, and music and kids activities at more than 40 businesses. Jingle Bell Holiday is a little earlier than normal because of how late Thanksgiving falls this year. This event is a great time for your whole family to explore local stores, do a little shopping, and meet business owners and employees. Click here for details on all the activities we have planned.
The Amazing Chase is happening next Friday during Jingle Bell Holiday! Teams can be 2 to 4 people of any ages. This event is all about having fun and makes for a great activity to do with your kids, friends or co-workers. The goal is to solve clues and complete challenges, and you do not need to be athletic to participate. Wining team gets $200 Grinnell Bucks, second place wins $100, and third place wins $50. There is also a $50 prize for the best-dressed team. Click here to learn more and enter your team.
For more information on all these events and other happenings in the area, see the latest issue of our quarterly publication, The Hub. It is filled with information about Jingle Bell Holiday, Grinnell Connect, Chamber initiatives and much more. Click here to read it online.
