WASHINGTON, March 9, 2016 - The results are in and WZDC Telemundo Washington DC continues to solidify their position in the nation's capital. The station celebrates growth in every daypart throughout the entire broadcast day according to Nielsen's most recent survey.
Garnering +22% growth over February '15 in both Adults and Women 25-54, Telemundo Washington DC ranked #1 among Spanish-language television stations in the market in Early Morning (M-F 7-10am) with Un Nuevo Día offering a fresh dose of entertainment, consumer tips, health, beauty and fashion. The station also increased its share of the Daytime audience (M-F 10am-4pm) among key Women 25-54, attracting more viewers consistently over February '15, May '15, July '15 and November '15.
Primetime proved solid with audiences and hit programming. ¿Quién es Quién? (M-F 7-8pm), grew its January '16 time period by +32% in Adults 18-49 and +21% among Total Adults. Super Series La Querida del Centauro topped off as the #1 Spanish-language TV program at 10pm, reaching 23,000 adult viewers.
The Year-Year growth trend continued into both Early and Late news with Telenoticias Washington growing +39% at 6pm and +67% at 11pm among the core Adults 25-54 news audience.
