Health and Wellness Take Center Stage at WRMD Tampa's Buena Vida Expo
On May 31, WRMD Tampa presented the inaugural Buena Vida Expo. The health fair focused on informing and educating the Hispanic community of Tampa Bay about healthy living. The free expo featured exhibitors that conducted a variety of health and wellness checks such as diabetes screenings and physicals, and back massages, among other services. The main stage included fitness demonstrations from Crossfit Unleashed, Tango-Flex, Zumba on Wheels, and Yoga. Also present were an array of authors, doctors, and nutritionists. Raúl González of Telemundo's upcoming variety show was on hand to share his personal testimony of struggling with obesity and how he lost over 100 pounds. González also posed for photos and signed autographs alongside the Telenoticias Tampa team.

WZDC Washington DC's Fiesta de las Madres Welcomes Large Turnout
WZDC Washington DC's seventh annual Fiesta de las Madres welcomed over 10,000 participants to Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring, Maryland on May 17. The event featured Telemundo actors Cynthia Olavarría and Juan Soler. Entertainment included the talented local artist, Jason Cerda, who performed his newest single, "Color Favorito." For the first time in its history, the event concluded with a Darcars Nissan giveaway. Sheila Vargas of Alexandria, Virginia drove away with a 2015 Nissan Versa.

KTDO El Paso Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary
To commemorate 10 years on the air, KTDO El Paso hosted Evento 48 at the Socorro Entertainment Center May 7-10. This four-day music event included popular artists Duelo, Aleks Syntek, El Dasa and Sunny Ozuna. The spectacular event welcomed Telemundo's own Carolina "La Venenosa" Sandoval from the #1 talk show Suelta La Sopa.

Meet in Las Vegas
The annual PromaxBDA Station Summit took place from June 23-26 in Las Vegas. Select members of the ZGS marketing and production team participated in the conference that was held at The Mirage. The group was introduced to cost-effective marketing strategies that can be used to drive tune-in. Telemundo also hosted the #SuperSummit, where affiliates from across the country shared ideas and had a Q&A session with network president, Luis Silberwasser.

WRDM Hartford/ WDMR Springfield Celebrates with #MeEncantaSerBoricua
On June 7, the community of Hartford celebrated the Puerto Rican Day Parade and the Coquí Festival. WRDM Hartford/WDMR Springfield partnered with McDonald's for the promotion #MeEncantaSerBoricua, highlighting Puerto Rican pride. An iPad-mini was awarded to the best "selfie" showcasing Boricua spirit and heritage at the festival.

WZTD Richmond Organizes the First Miss Chiquitita
WZTD Richmond presented the first Miss Chiquitita, a beauty pageant for girls between the ages of 5 and 10 years old. All participants had their photo posted on WZTD Richmond's Facebook page for everyone in the community to vote for their favorite contestant. 15 finalists were selected according to the number of "likes" received and moved on to the June 6 finale at the Sacred Heart Center in Richmond, where Angélica Lizbeth Ovilla-López was crowned Miss Chiquitita.

WTMO Orlando's Telenoticias Travels to Puerto Rico
Telenoticias Orlando traveled to Puerto Rico to cover the exodus of Puerto Ricans from the Island in a special series called Encanto Boricua (Puerto Rican Enchantment). The week-long coverage included exclusive interviews with the Governor of Puerto Rico, the Police Superintendent, and Don Omar, as well as segments covering social discontent, economic issues and popular tourist destination spots.

WRIW Providence Launches New Local Program, Two Zona
WRIW Providence, in partnership with WRDM Hartford/WDMR Springfield recently debuted Two Zona. The program is produced and hosted by Luis Revilla. Two Zona showcases local community events, entertainment and news. Its content is interactive and informative and the program serves as a great way to directly connect to the local Hispanic community.

WZDC Washington DC Participates
in the Caminata Da Vida in Puerto Rico
On June 3-8, Telenoticias Washington's Daniel Rivera participated in and covered the "Caminata Da Vida" walk in Puerto Rico devoted to those affected by cancer. Thousands of supporters participated in the six-day, 80-mile walk led by entertainer Raymond Arrieta. The WZDC Washington DC team supported the cause by purchasing Da Vida shirts and making a video showing their support.

WTMO Orlando Announces Salud, Belleza y Bienestar Health Initiative
WTMO Orlando revealed the details of its new health initiative, Salud, Belleza y Bienestar (Health, Beauty and Wellness), at the 2015 Hispanic Business Conference & Expo held at the Orange County Convention Center on June 6. Salud, Belleza y Bienestar will provide information and resources via news segments, on-air vignettes, a digital extension on holaciudad.com, social media outreach, events and ultimately a half-hour show. The faces of the campaign include Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2014 Gabriela Berríos and nutritional expert Raquel C. Garzon of Revitalize Project.

Nielsen's May 2015 Sweeps was a successful survey for the ZGS Station Group:
- KTDO El Paso was the #1 station in the market, regardless of language, in primetime and early fringe among adults 18-49.
- WRDM Hartford was the Spanish-language leader in the market in Monday through Sunday primetime among several demos, including the coveted adults 18-34 and 25-54 demo.
- WWDT Fort Myers-Naples was the Spanish-language leader in the market in primetime among adults 18-49 and 25-54, while coming in at #2 in the market, regardless of language among adults 18-34.
- WTMO Orlando was the Spanish-language leader in the market sign-on to sign-off among adults 25-54. Telenoticias Orlando was the #1 Spanish-language newscast at 6pm and 11pm among major demos.
- WRMD Tampa was the #1 Spanish-language choice for primetime and news among key demos, adults 18-49 and 25-54.
- WZDC Washington, DC led Spanish TV on Sunday nights, with successful hit La Voz Kids among all major demos.
