Happy July everyone! This month's theme is HOT! The weather is HOT, our ratings are HOT, and the upcoming special coverage of the Pope's U.S. visit will be super-HOT!

Remember when summer used to be a slow time? That's no longer true for this group, where the great ratings we've delivered show how hard everyone works. For May Sweeps, our stations didn't just top the ratings in Spanish-language broadcasts, but frequently did so across the board in English-language among key demographics! (See the Nielsen Highlights for all the specifics)

Looking ahead, things don't cool off. I see many more opportunities for standout work coming quickly. September brings us the fantastic occasion of Pope Francis - the first Latin American Pope - on his first visit to the U.S.! This promises to be a true ratings bonanza, as well as a moving and significant experience. Shortly after that, we'll be fully into the race for President, which is already heating up. Immigration promises to be a key component of the race, with Hispanics as a key demographic, so political advertising will be (as important an opportunity) as news coverage.

We have a lot to be proud of and a lot to live up to! The ZGS team has proven it knows how to face challenges and capitalize on opportunities, so we are eager to get started. Enjoy the rest of the summer and let's hope the only thing that cools off is the weather! Un abrazo.
