The station is also the market leader regardless of language in early fringe
El Paso, TX - KTDO Telemundo 48 was the #1 Spanish-language station in primetime Monday through Friday 6-10pm and #3 among all stations in the market, regardless of language, among Adults 18-49, according to the May 2014 Nielsen survey. The primetime lineup was driven by Caso Cerrado Edición Estelar at 6pm, which led Spanish TV and was second in the market in its time period. Additionally, the widely successful 9pm novela, Camelia La Texana, finished out its run at #1 among Adults 18-34.
Telemundo 48 is also the most watched station in early fringe regardless of language leading all stations in the market Monday through Friday 2-5pm among key demos including Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54 and total viewers. KTDO's early fringe dominance was driven by the captivating celebrity gossip show Suelta La Sopa at 2pm and the popular court show Caso Cerrado at 3pm. Both shows were the market leaders in their timeslots among Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54. Caso Cerrado was the highest rated program in early fringe, achieving ratings double the competition.
Telenoticias El Paso, KTDO's local news, continued to deliver significant audience growth as well. Both the 5pm and 10pm newscast increased its audience by more than 25% among Adults 18+ from the last sweeps period. The 10pm edition also tripled its audience among Adults 18-34.
