Eduardo's Corner

It's incredible to think we are already halfway through the year.  I know everyone has been enjoying the World Cup.  There has been quite a showing from the Latin American teams.  Just think, only 4 more years until all the games will be on Telemundo!

We've entered our event season fast and furious with a flurry of activity across the station group.  We kicked off the La Feria de la Familia season with the event in Fort Myers and are looking forward to WTMO Orlando's Back to School themed La Feria in August.  Please see below for a full calendar of upcoming La Feria de la Familia events.  The political season is also upon us and we've launched our local voter engagement and participation initiative, Vota por tu Futuro, across the group with community partnerships and PSAs to encourage voter registration.  We also made a HUGE announcement in Tampa about the launch of local news this fall!  We are excited to be expanding our reach and to add an additional programming platform to serve the local community.  All this to say, we are in the midst of what we do best, engaging our local communities with a variety of meaningful initiatives.

We've seen excellent performance from the entire group up until this point and want to remind everyone to remain actively involved so we can finish off the second half of the year even stronger.  Now is the time to remain focused on our objectives to garner impressive results for the end of the year.  We appreciate all of your hard work and dedication.  Enjoy the rest of your summer and the World Cup. Go Argentina!

Un abrazo.
