WZDC Telemundo Washington is the #1 Choice for DC

  

Washington, DC - WZDC Telemundo Washington, DC wraps up February sweeps as the #1 Spanish-language station in the market sign-on to sign-off (Monday to Sunday 5a-2a). According to Nielsen's most recent survey, Telemundo Washington, DC commanded almost half of the audience in the coveted adults 18-34 demo, doubling its daypart delivery from last year.

The station's continued success was propelled by its strong, winning performance in primetime and early fringe. In primetime, Telemundo Washington, DC was the most viewed Spanish-language station from 7-11pm for the second consecutive sweeps, delivering a 56% share of the viewing among adults 18-34. The new 8pm novela, La Impostora, dominated its time period with an overwhelming 73% of the audience among adults 18-34 and more than 50% among adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.The station also led at 9pm among adults 18-34 while doubling its novela audience at 10pm from last year.

 

Additionally, Telemundo Washington, DC led in early fringe, with more than half of the audience in several key demos including adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. Popular court show Caso Cerrado and news magazine Al Rojo Vivo con Marķa Celeste were both #1 at 4pm and 5pm respectively.  Telenoticias Washington, the station's local news at 6pm and 11pm, doubled its delivery from last year among several key demos including adults 18-49 and 25-54.
