KTDO Telemundo 48 is the #1 Primetime Station in El Paso

The station has led the time period for the past two sweeps

El Paso, TX - KTDO Telemundo 48 is the #1 primetime station in El Paso, regardless of language, according to the July Nielsen survey. KTDO led all stations in the market M-F 6-10pm among key demos including adults 18-34, 18-49, and 25-54. This is the second consecutive sweeps period that the station has achieved this result.

KTDO's primetime dominance was driven by its dynamic, unrivaled novela lineup. The new novela Dama y Obrero led the market at 7pm among adults 18-34, with a rating 62% higher than the closest competitor. Novelas, La Patrona and Marido en Alquiler, both led at 8pm during each program's respective run among all key demos. Finally, the hugely popular  El Seņor de Los Cielos wrapped up its run as the highest rated primetime show in El Paso at 9pm during the sweeps period, leading its time period among adults 18-34, 18-49, 25-49, and 25-54.

Building off the success of its primetime lineup, Telenoticias El Paso, KTDO's local news, continues to deliver significant audience increases as well. The 10pm newscast increased its audience by more than 25% among adults 18-34 and adults 18-49, and by 53% among adults 25-54. Telenoticias is the second most-watched newscast in the market at 10pm among adults 18-34.

"It was fantastic and not at all surprising to see the July sweeps results.  KTDO Telemundo 48 is making tremendous gains in the market and the ratings support the growth and momentum the station is experiencing," commented Lorena Castaņeda, Station Manager.  "Telenoticias El Paso, as well as Telemundo's exciting new primetime schedule, clearly resonates with viewers."
