The station also delivers impressive growth in primetime
Orlando, FL - WTMO Telemundo is Orlando's #1 Spanish-language station in early fringe (4-6pm), commanding almost two-thirds of the audience across key demographics, according to the latest Nielsen survey. Telemundo Orlando's early fringe lineup, with the popular court show Caso Cerrado and news magazine Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste, more than doubled its audience from this time last year. Caso Cerrado and Al Rojo Vivo were both decidedly #1 at 4pm and 5pm for Spanish-language TV, with each program delivering more than half of the viewers.
WTMO continues to show impressive growth in primetime with strong performances in key time periods. The overwhelming hit, Caso Cerrado Edición Estelar, was #1 at 7pm across all major demos, with almost double the audience of the competition. The popular novela La Patrona at 9pm posted double-digit growth, increasing its ratings by 50% from just last month. Additionally, El Rostro de la Venganza, was #1 at 10pm among adults 18-34, delivering almost half of the Spanish-language audience. WTMO not only increased its ratings against the competition at 10pm, but experienced a 55% year-over-year increase in Spanish-language share for the same time period.
"I believe we have the most engaging and refreshing programming on Spanish-language television. Our ratings success reflects that quality and proves that our programming resonates with viewers," commented Larry De La Rosa, General Manager of WTMO Orlando.
