Eduardo's Corner

I am excited to report that we are having a fantastic year all around!  We really appreciate all of your efforts.  We have been working hard on a number of fronts.  The entire station group is now airing in HD.  This is huge accomplishment of which we should be very proud.  In August, we launched holaciudad 2.0 with a new look and expanded features.  I'd like to thank the digital team for their dedication and all of their hard work in transitioning the site.  We've received a lot of very positive feedback and look forward to capitalizing on the increased traffic and users.

I'd also like to thank the group for their local Vota Por Tu Futuro  efforts and extend congratulations to the team in El Paso for organizing and hosting the first Spanish-language Congressional debate.  It was an outstanding forum and provided our viewers the opportunity to hear from both candidates in their language and on issues that matter most to our community.  Across our properties we've registered voters, raised awareness, kept viewers informed and motivated the electorate.  Now it is time to Get out the Vote!

As I mentioned, we have had an incredibly successful year so far; however it is imperative that we keep the momentum going and finish strong.  Remember the ZGS pillars to drive audience, grow revenue, serve our community and be local.  Let's continue to work together, think outside the box and position our properties and our company to have an even better year in 2013!  When the company succeeds we all benefit.  Muchísimas gracias a todos por su esfuerzo, dedicación y más que todo su entusiasmo.  Un abrazo.
