Blood Clot Survivor Completes Triathlon
Congratulations to Angie Morefield for completing Ironman Mt. Tremblant! She swam, cycled and ran while raising more than $5,000 for NBCA. "It was inspiring to have so much support for this amazing cause." Angie said "my race was great, best day of my life." Read her story here.


Kimmo Timonen 
Treated for Blood Clots
Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Kimmo Timonen has been diagnosed with blood clots, the team announced. He experienced pain in his calf and went to the hospital, where doctors found blood clots in his leg and both lungs.
