PEP is you!
At Pali Elementary, our community works together to provide the best, well-rounded educational experience possible. Our children benefit from a wide array of programs: art, music, physical education, computer lab, extra classroom aides, smaller class sizes, conflict resolution, Discovery Garden, art, library, "Green Team," and more.
These programs are funded and/or sponsored by Palisades Enrichment Programs (PEP), Pali's parent-run organization that was started by parents to enhance our children's educational experience. We welcome all to PEP and hope that you will participate by volunteering, attending our monthly meetings, coming to school events, and more. The strength of our school community comes from our active and hands-on volunteer parent body and we would love to have you join us.

Dear Pali Families,
We hope you are all enjoying a safe and fun filled summer. The first day of school is about a month away, but there are already many PEP volunteers hard at work preparing for the year. In particular, our PaliPartners team is working on the directory so we can have it soon after school starts. Please make sure to update your information and review the advertising opportunities below.

Directory Advertising Sales 
As busy parents, we can attest to the value of the school directory and the patronage of the 400+ families at Pali. School is still weeks away, but we are already preparing important material for next year. We are starting early, in order to get the Directory published early in the school year.
In addition to including or updating your personal family information, we would like to offer parents looking to promote their business to Pali families the first chance to place ads in this year's school Directory. Our Directory includes an electronic form for mobile phones to supplement the traditional printed Directory. Ads will be hot-linked so that a parent can immediately telephone or email a business.
We welcome family support - but hurry because there is a limited amount of inventory !
The deadline for submitting camera ready artwork is Friday, August 16, 2013. Ad placement location requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis with preference made to Platinum Pali Partners. Multiple requests for the same location will be determined by the postmarked payment.

Clean out your closets for Pali!
Check out our newest fundraising opportunity. Schoola Stitch raises money for our school by selling gently-used, brand name children's clothing online. We donate the clothes, and Schoola does the rest.
Just go HERE to sign up and request a bag. That day Schoola sends you a free postage-paid collection bag to fill with gently-used name brand children's clothing. UPS picks it up free of charge, and...Bingo! You've just helped PEP raise funds and cleaned out your kid's closet at the same time!
Once Schoola receives the clothing, they sort it, sell it and give up to 40% of the proceeds to Palisades Charter Elementary. On average, they are seeing between $30-50 per bag of clothes - some bags chock full of clothes could raise as much as $150.

Printer Cartridges and Used Cell Phone Recycling 
Please remember to collect used printer cartridges and old cell phones and put them in the colllection containers inside the front door of the school when school begins.
