Garden Update

We will be finishing the year planting for summer and with some final projects.  Second graders will be pressing flowers. Fourth graders will harvest the wheat and make bread.

The Pali tradition of the kinder gardeners planting pumpkins seeds for the incoming students to have pumpkins to harvest in the Fall, happened this week. They also made soup from the items that they harvested.

The first grade plant sale is coming the last week of school. Keep an eye out for another opportunity to purchase plants for your garden before the end of the year. The first graders will  have the opportunity to practice Money Math learned this year.

The garden is looking to reorganize with grade liaisons next year. If you are looking for opportunities to volunteer. The garden may be just the place for your organizational skills.
