CST Mark Your Calendars with this Change: The CSTs will begin this year on Monday, April 15 and ends on Wednesday, April 24. Please make this change in your calendars. This adds an additional week for instruction and review prior to the 2-5 grade students beginning the California State Tests.

March 25. School resumes on Tuesday, April 2.

Cesar ChavezCesar Chavez Holiday: We are closed on Monday, April 1 for the holiday.

Red Cross   

The West Los Angeles Red Cross Presents:  The Youth Volunteers of Los Angeles will provide instruction on:  Basic Aid Training, Hands-Only CPR and Disaster Preparedness. Space is Limited!  There are 50 spots available per session. Flyers have arrived home via backpacks!$5 suggested donation to cover the cost of supplies. springSpring Music Concerts:  Be sure to mark your calendars!  Kindergarten: Tuesday, April 30, 8:30 - 9:30 am; 1st Grade: Tuesday, April 30, 10:30 - 11:30 am; 2nd Grade: Wednesday, May 8, 8:30 - 9:30 am; 3 Grade: Wednesday, May 8, 10:30 - 11:30 am.  Auditorium doors open 20 minutes before show time.  

music scholarships

Los Angeles City Elementary Schools Music Assoc.: Two of our students, Wyatt Standish (clarinet) and Greta Zumbrunnen (violin), have been selected by audition to receive a $300 scholarship for private study on their instrument.  This year the judges recommended 33 students across the district to receive these grants.  Congratulations Wyatt and Greta!
