PEP Enrichment
Library Update from Jane Jaffe
The library is enjoying a great renaissance. We are reading a wide variety of books both fiction and non-fiction, picture books and chapter books, and now that our re-organization of the shelves is done, our students are learning how to find their way around the library and the
dewey decimal system.
We now have a terrific assortment of magazines for our children to enjoy. Thanks to those of you who have purchased magazines during our drive or contributed books off our Amazon wishlist. We are still in need of some books to fill out our collection so don't hesitate to buy 1-2 off our updated Amazon wishlist:

International Day is a "re-newed" school-wide event for our children to explore several countries and their cultures on Thursday, May 30th, in a format similar to Olympic Day.
Pali parents have so far volunteered to represent their home countries of Netherlands, New Zealand, and Korea. We are looking for parents from any country to help with these countries, or lead a new country (we would like 5 with at least one from Africa and/or Latin America).
If you are interested in participating, please email Kari Weaver at weaverkari@hotmail.com or join us for the kick-off meeting on Friday, March 22 at 1:10 pm in room 16.
