 2013 PTA Founder's Day:
Thank you to the marvelous support team of LeeAnn Daly, Stacy Hausner, Joan Rochman and Melanie Speiser. Gratitude also goes to all of the others who joined in making Founders Day such a memorable experience. Everyone has gone above and beyond.
 Mark Your Calendars and Get Ready to Spell: The Second Annual Pacific Palisades Spelling Bee has been scheduled for this Sunday, February 24, 2013. Let's do it again! 
Heads up: Your child's second period report card is coming home on Friday, March 1.  Fourth Grade Writing Test: Tuesday, March 5 & 6 begins the first part of our California State Testing (CST) for fourth graders. This is a writing test only. Further testing for second through fifth grades will be given in May. Please try to have our fourth graders come to school well rested and calm especially on test days.
Optional Parent Teacher Conferences: Beginning Tuesday, March 5 the daily bell schedule will change for that week only. On Wednesday and Friday only of that week all classes (including kindergarten) will begin at our normal 8:10 a.m. but end at 1:05 p.m. in order to accommodate parent teacher conferences. The Tuesday and Thursday schedule will remain the same as usual.
