Dear Pali Families,

We hope you had a nice long weekend.  Founders Day is this Thursday at 2 p.m.  Please come and honor those who have dedicated themselves to making Pali great.  All are welcome.

We are adding a "PEP Enrichment Update" to our weekly newsletter.  Check out the blue box on the left for news about what our children are up to in the fabulous enrichment classes your donations support.  The first weekly update is from Coach Jonah.  Check it out!

Sincerely,
Your PEP Co-Chairs

Announcing Trash Free Thursdays

Beginning this Thursday, and all following Thursdays, the Green Team will ask students and faculty to bring trash free lunches and snacks.  Please pack lunches in lunch boxes, pack sandwiches with reusable sandwich sacks/plastic containers, and use water containers instead of disposable bottles or juice boxes.  We are hoping to instill the notion of "reduce, reuse, recycle" (with an emphasis on "reduce") that our kids will carry into adulthood.  We also would like to support LA City's goal of becoming a zero waste city by the year 2025.  Thank you, parents, for your support in this very valuable Pali Elementary Green Team initiative.

Yard Help Needed at Recess

We are looking for a few volunteers to help out on the yard while the teachers have a meeting on March 14, from 10-10:45 a.m. This is a great opportunity to see you kids at recess. Please sign up at:
