Great!

The Academic Fair was FANTASTIC!
How did everyone use their passports this year? Did I say passports? YES! Our guests came, and were immediately sent off to travel through the tables of wonderful essays, poems, projects of Grades 1-8, Kfar Adumim, Mitzpe Yericho and Maaleh Adumim. Once the passport was completed with answers to the simple questions (Whose Me Book did you like? etc...) each participant received a small prize.

Why did a Medical Clown come to the Academic Fair to teach us the 5 basic Rules of Medical Clowning? Because this year's Writing Exhibition theme was humor and its many aspects.

Of course we ended our day - our year - with our usual ICE CREAM
Extravaganza  - many flavours, cones, sprinkles, chocolate sauce - Mmmmmm!

Top winning entries from our Writing Exhibition, sponsored by TSAL - To Save A Life  organization, came from Yahav Alshech, Yotan Alshech, Elisheva Gersten, Ezra Gersten, Hadas Warshawsky and Maayan Levarko.     Honorable Mentions were given to Shani Yoselis and Bnaya Yoselis, Leeya Bitton and Nitzan Solomon. Did you know that Sarah German of New Brunswick NJ participated in our Readathon as part of her Bat Mitzvah project? Did you know that we opened a new English Room in the Mitzpeh Yericho school?

I took a big bite It gave me a fright

For I found it was really a leech

While Roni has been learning with us for a few years, and wishes to continue, her family is finding it difficult to pay for her and her siblings as well. Roni is advancing wonderfully - we want her to continue - but we need your support to help pay for her and others like her in our program.

Reading Pebbles
A teacher mentioned to me that a student that I have tutored with Reading Rocks! over the past two months has just 'miraculously' started reading. I told her "No miracle, just
Reading Rocks! working its magic again!" Another child on her happy way to success! (Testimonial from Julie)

Reading Rocks! is so successful that teachers are clamoring for  a prequel and a sequel. We are working on both.
