What did we have this year?
203 participants (kids, teens and adults!), 2,800 books & 21,000 NIS raised!
Ma'aleh Hatorah was the winning school with 66 students reading 869 books!!!
The Awards Ceremony was terrific, with a Pantomime show, story telling, a raffle, balloons, and over 30 prizewinners! Even Benny Kashriel, the Mayor, had a good time!
What is planned for READATHON 2014? More reading of course, but also a video clip of kids reading English books all over Israel. Anytime you go on vacation in Israel send us a short clip of your child reading an English book. We'll have a wild video invite for READATHON 2014!

טקס הענקת הפרסים הייתה מהנה במיוחד, עם מופע פנטומימה, מספרת סיפורים, בלונים והמון פרסים! אפילו ראש העיר בני כשריאל נהנה. מקוים שגם אתם נהניתם

Almost There!
Due to the generosity of the local business community and our readers we raised
80% of the cost of running the Readathon.

Our goal - to get kids reading - happened! 203 wonderful participants forged ahead in their reading skills.
We would love to have this project fully funded by Passover.
