Priority dates for the Category F-2A (spouses and children of legal permanent residents) is Current
In August, legal permanent residents filing on behalf of their children (under 21 years of age), or spouses can
file immediately for permanent residence (also known as green cards).
This is the first time in recent memory that priority dates for the category F-2A (spouses and children of legal permanent residents) have become current for all countries, meaning green cards are now available in this category.
At this moment, there is no way to know how long this category will stay current, so please contact our office if you would like to take advantage of this great opportunity and we would be happy to assist you in filing for permanent residency.

Hyderabad, Bangalore among 4 airports to have Visa-on-Arrival facility
Visa-on-Arrival facility for tourists will now be available at four more international airports across the country, besides the four existing metro cities. "The Home Ministry has issued orders extending Visa on Arrival (VoA) facility to four more airports at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Hyderabad and Bangalore with effect from August 15," said a senior Tourism Ministry official.
Currently, the VoA facility is operational at four international airports in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. It was decided earlier at the third inter-ministerial coordination committee meeting to extend the facility of tourist Visa on Arrival (VoA) at these airports, said the official. Visitors from 11 countries including Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and Myanmar are eligible to get VoA facility.
The visa-on-arrival scheme has contributed to an increase in the number of tourists from these countries and the government was in the final stages of consultations on allowing the facility to citizens of another 10 countries, including Germany, France and Russia, said the official.
The Ministry has set a target of attracting 12 million international tourists by 2016. For additional info, pls check the below link.

Priority Dates Jump: EB-3 and F-2A
The August visa bulletin shows significant movement in the priority dates for EB-2, moving to January 1, 2008 for India.
Family-based priority dates for the category F-2A (spouses and children of legal permanent residents) became current for all countries. Please contact our office if you have any questions.
