Our mission is to restore innocence and strengthen families.
WE NEED YOUR HELP

Fall has arrived, and around the corner our children at the emergency shelter and residential treatment center will celebrate Halloween. We are in need of the following items:
  • Halloween costumes (sizes: 2T to 14) for boys and girls. We kindly request no adult-themed or scary costumes.
  • Halloween candy and trick-or-treat toys
  • Long-sleeved shirts and cotton pull-up pants for boys and girls ages infancy to 16
  • Diapers and pull-ups of all sizes
Volunteering to Restore Innocence &
Strengthen Families

Thank you to The Children's Shelter board of trustees-Rick Johnston and Jessica Gonzalez for bringing volunteer work groups from Valero and Ernst & Young.  Because of the hard work of our wonderful volunteers, our campus is refreshed and in time for fall!  The foster care department offices received a fresh coat of paint; our playground located at our Glenda Woods Campus, which provides emergency shelter for children from infancy to 16 years of age has a new fresh layer of mulch; our gardens throughout our campus have been cleaned and mulched. Volunteers have a direct impact on our children and families we serve, which builds empowerment, choice, collaboration, trust, and safety.
