HSAwareness Volunteers Return To Chicago's Back Of The Yards Neighborhood

HSA Commercial was named Chicago Commons' 2016 Corporate Partner of the Year for various volunteer efforts, including the annual playground restoration at the Paulo Freire Family Center.


For the third consecutive year, volunteers from Taylor Johnson client HSA Commercial Real Estate returned to Chicago Commons' Paulo Freire Family Center (PFC) in Chicago's Back of the Yards neighborhood to help freshen up the playground for the upcoming school year. Led by CEO Bob Smietana and SVP Josephine Thomas-Hoytt, the team was tasked with sanding and staining logs and a wooden patio canopy, as well as hauling and spreading fresh mulch and woodchips throughout the playground.
