Taylor Johnson client VeriGreen Development, a division of Evergreen Real Estate Group, hosted a recent groundbreaking ceremony to announce the start of renovations at the former St. Charles Hospital in downtown Aurora. VeriGreen will transform the historic building into a 60-unit independent living facility for seniors. The Aurora Beacon-News was in attendance to capture the significance of the project - the first of its kind to combine federal housing tax credits with state credits obtained through a River Edge Redevelopment Zone program - and the positive impact it will have on the Aurora community.
