Congratulations to Taylor Johnson client Ascend Real Estate Group, which along with partner Intercontinental Real Estate Corp. recently broke ground on Niche 905, an 18-story, 202-unit luxury apartment tower at 905 N. Orleans St., in Chicago's Near North Side neighborhood. Scheduled to deliver in summer 2017, Niche 905 will offer a mix of convertible, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, a full suite of amenities and lower-level retail space. As part of the groundbreaking ceremony, the development venture presented a $50,000 check to Bishop James C. Austin Sr. of the St. Luke Church of God in Christ, located across the street at 914 N. Orleans St., as a donation to the church's building fund.
