The first phase of 1200 S. Indiana received approval from the Chicago Plan Commission on November 19.
One of the city's most anticipated residential skyscrapers recently received approval by the Chicago Plan Commission, kicking off what is expected to be a major resurgence of the South Loop neighborhood. Taylor Johnson client Crescent Heights announced the first phase of 1200 S. Indiana, formerly referred to as 113 E. Roosevelt, will feature a 76-story, 829-foot rental tower designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects. Subsequent phases are proposed to include a 648-unit residential tower connected at the base of the phase-one tower, as well as a 100-unit development. Stay tuned to TJ Talk for more details on the development, which is anticipated to begin construction in late 2016.
