Chicago's commercial real estate is on pace to once again set a record for greatest sales volume since 2007. According to Crain's Chicago Business, sales of local apartment, hotel, retail, office and industrial properties totaled $15.79 billion in 2014, and have already reached $12.22 billion through July of this year.
