Millennials may be waiting longer to get married and to purchase a home, but low interest rates, rising rental costs and affordable new-construction homes have made home buying more enticing. A recent Daily Herald article on millennials featured Sebastian and Aida Steinle, who purchased their first home at Lexington Hills, a townhome development in Palatine by Taylor Johnson client Lexington Homes. Like many millennials, the Steinles at first didn't think they could afford a new-construction home that met their growing family's needs. They were happy to be proven wrong.
