It was a star-studded panel of real estate experts at the Bisnow 6th Annual Chicago Multifamily Summit last week, including TJ clients Nick Ryan from Marquette Companies and David Schwartz of Waterton Associates.


 

If you're worried about Chicago having an apartment bubble - don't be. Or at least you don't need to worry about it for the short term, according to both sets of panelists speaking at Bisnow's 6th Annual Chicago Multifamily Summit last week. Weighing in on the city's current and future state of apartment financing and acquisitions was Taylor Johnson client Todd Stofflet of KIG and lending their expertise to the development panel were TJ clients Nick Ryan from Marquette Companies and David Schwartz of Waterton Associates. Topics ran the gamut from rent growth and hot neighborhoods (hello, Pilsen) to the Chicago Affordable Housing Ordinance and international investors.
