The rent-to-own concept has long been successful for furniture and electronics suppliers, but has been a bit more scarce in residential real estate. However, as Credit.com reports, that may be changing in an economy where many would-be homebuyers are still reluctant to make the leap toward ownership. Taylor Johnson client RentMACK, a division of MACK Companies, has been offering the rent-to-own option for years, making it available for the firm's 1,200 single-family rental properties.
