Crain's reported earlier this week that construction starts are up 16 percent in the Chicago area this year when compared with the first six months of 2013. Taylor Johnson client Englewood Construction has experienced this increased activity, especially in restaurant construction. Englewood recently completed the new Harry Caray's 7th Inning Stretch and Chicago Sports Museum at Water Tower Place in Chicago. Crain's spoke with Englewood's Chuck Taylor about the overall construction market and the reasons behind this heightened activity.
