Taylor Johnson staffers put their PR skills to work recently for Misericordia's annual "Candy Days" fundraiser as they spent an afternoon volunteering and sweet-talking drivers into donations. The two-day event -- Misericordia's largest fundraiser of the year -- took place April 25 and 26 and drew volunteers from all over the city and across the state. Founded in 1921, the Chicago-based non-profit serves more than 600 local children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible while promoting community integration.
