K2's lounge features a pool table and flat-screen TV -- must-haves for any bachelor pad.
Chicago's newest luxury apartment towers are supplying the city with some of its best bachelor pads. HGTV FrontDoor recently caught up with several of the city's most eligible renters, including resident Mike Haniff of K2, the latest luxury apartment tower from TJ client Fifield Cos. Haniff says he chose K2 as his bachelor headquarters because of its top-tier, yet affordable amenities.
One amenity that Haniff has yet to enjoy, but will soon enough, is a private bridge from K2 to the neighborhood Jewel-Osco. This Friday (weather permitting), Fifield will install a 105-foot bridge over Union Street. It will be ready for resident use in about six to eight weeks. The Chicago Architecture Blog has the story.
The worst job I ever had was: Working for my father as his office helper at his autobody repair business. He was one tough boss, and still today maintains that I had the thickest personnel file of any employee he ever had. Click here to learn more about Vanessa.
