Even with a Blackhawks loss, Chicago still has something to celebrate today. Crain's reports the city will rank ninth in most competitive urban areas around the globe by 2025. Chicago is one of only two cities from the United States to make the cut.  The study looks at indicators including physical strength, social and cultural character, and global appeal.
