The Super Lawyer designation is the result of a peer evaluation. Nominations are received from thousands of lawyers throughout the state. According to the Journal of Law and Politics, this honor is reserved for the top 5% of the lawyers in each practice area.
Eric is responsible for handling all phases of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and other employment-related matters from the investigation stage through trial. He has also obtained workplace violence and labor-related injunctions and restraining orders and regularly provided counseling to employers on day-to-day employment relations issues.
Eric was nominated as one of "2008 'Forty under 40'" award recipients by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. He is an active Board Member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and is a member of the Association of Business Trial lawyers.
In his "spare" time, Eric enjoys going to the beach, running, coaching his daughter's soccer and volleyball teams and spending time with his family.
Katherine's practice focuses on providing day-to-day advice and counsel to employers on the entire spectrum of employment and labor law matters, including avoidance of litigation, terminations, leaves of absence, wage-hour issues, reductions in force and traditional labor relations including union organizing, collective bargaining, grievance handling and arbitration.
Katherine is also a frequent public speaker. She designs and presents customized internal management training programs for employers and routinely conducts lectures and seminars for various employment-related groups and organizations.
Outside of work, Katherine enjoys spending time with her family, including her seven nephews and nieces and is an avid outdoors woman who enjoys snow skiing, jet skiing and zip-lining.
