The Maturing Continues in Tonga

Loni 'Akolo (our discipleship leader in Tonga, pictured above) and his team are running another training camp for small group leaders and workers. The camp is over 3 days this coming weekend, and it is their second camp this year.

These camps and the village outreaches that Loni organizes are an essential part of helping maturing believers find their place in serving Christ, and for developing new leaders.

This is an essential stage in our 'discipleship pipeline' for helping local people disciple their own nation for Christ.

It is a tremendous encouragement to the local people who have come to Christ through our ministry begin to take leadership initiative in planning and raising funds locally, for these outreaches and camps.

For years it was just me. Then it was Loni and me. Then Loni and Willy and me. And now . . . . Praise God!

Remainder of the money needed to come in from their fund raising

Speakers to be anointed by the Holy Spirit
Weather (do you know how much it rains in Tonga?)
Safety for the children and families and from spiritual attack
The people attending. They will grow in their christian walk and service

And please pray for Loni.

For his leadership, and for his health which hasn't been so good lately.
