Excel and Importing

 Commission Tracker uses Excel spreadsheets to import 

• Carrier Statements (.xls)
• Policies (.xlxs)
• Agent Split tables (.xlxs) 

When importing it is necessary to make sure that your spreadsheets are import ready.

You can do this by taking out extra lines, total lines and headings. 

When importing from the Policy or Agent Split templates, make sure that

the "Policy #" column is set to "Text" this will make sure that excel

looks at both alpha and numeric policy numbers. (example above)
