Greetings. We hope that this WSI Play By Play finds each of you in good health and good spirit.

 

As you'll see from the photos, below, things have been busy in our WSI camps with hunting clients attending an assortment of excursions with us. We've battled through some very hot weather over the last month or so, and a few of our hunts have been a bit challenging, but none the less, our hunts as a whole have gone very well. We recently enjoyed a great Longbranch hunt with each of the four hunters taking bucks that ranged in score from 150"+ to 180"+, and still have room for another group of 4 hunters at Longbranch if you happen to want to put together a late minute hunt. And speaking of challenging weather, we had a group of nilgai hunters in last weekend at the H. Yturria properties and we received 12" of rain over a 2-day period, while hunters were in camp. According to the guides, everything was soaked, from the land to the animals to the hunters and guides. But, they persisted and each of the hunters ended up shooting a bull. That kind of rain certainly creates difficult circumstances for hunting, but the moisture will bode well for having a green winter and that's a good thing for wildlife in this part of the world.
