Thank you for taking the time to peruse the edition of our WSI Play By Play. Included below, are some photos of exotics that we took earlier this summer, as well as some photos from our recent pronghorn hunts in New Mexico, and a few dove photos from our dove season opener this week near San Angelo. You'll also see some details on a hunting lease that is available in Sterling County.

If we can assist on any late minute plans you would like to make for this fall, please give us a shout. We have some great whitetail hunts still available, with several dates to consider.

Best regards,

Your Friends at WSI

This was our third year to offer pronghorn hunts on the Day Ranch, located between Clayton and Raton, New Mexico. All 12 of our hunters took bucks, including some really nice trophies. Our carryover of mature bucks into next year appears to be great, so we are excited about the prospects of 2015 being a great year, as well.

Warren Blesh, one of our Pronghorn hunters below, had this to say about the hunt, "Thank you for the wonderful and very challenging pronghorn hunt in New Mexico this past week.  Your guide team of Ruben, Jackie and Tom are the best. This was my fourth hunt with Wildlife Systems. We can't wait to book again in the near future".

With several hundred acres scattered on several different fields near San Angelo, our dove hunts thus far have been TREMENDOUS. Plenty of bird action with whitewings, mourning doves, and some collared doves. If you are interested in a day hunt, please give us a call.

Season Hunting Lease

This is a great opportunity for a corporate group or large group of buddies looking for a great season lease. The Terry Headquarter Ranch is located about 7 miles south of Sterling City, off of the Barnhart highway. Roughly 7500 acres is available, with primary game species being white-tailed deer, and secondary species being quail, dove, and turkey.

Country varies from flat to rolling hills, and the pastures are well-taken care of through a conservation grazing program that is mindful of the wildlife resources. a great hunting camp is also available with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and dining area, with a covered porch. There is a processing area with walk-in cooler, electric crank, work tables, and sink area. There is also plenty of storage space for vehicles and equipment. There is a 3000 pound feed trailer with paddle-wheel system for filling feeders that the hunters can use. Hunters are allowed to harvest up to 12 bucks, plus does and other game.

Lease price is $5.95 per acre. Hunters must pay for utilities at camp, and must provide their own blinds and feeders. This is a great opportunity. Call for more details.
