"Serving Hunters' & Landowners' Needs Since 1987"

25th Anniversary
 Greetings! Greetings!

September 5, 2013

Our WSI fall hunting schedule has officially kicked off. Even though it seems as though we were just wrapping up last season's schedule just a few days ago, reality is that time seems to slip by, oh so fast. Our staff at WSI is pumped and ready to get into cycle of catering to our clients' needs and having a great time, pursing game in the field. Let's move from the practice field onto the playing field, turn on the lights, and have a great recreational time.

After a serious drought that finally let up in Northern New Mexico about 3 months ago, we had a successful pronghorn hunt which wrapped up last week, with all 12 hunters taking bucks. Even though horn length is down a bit, we still harvested some very nice goats. Pronghorn antelope are beautiful game animals, providing a fun time, during the early fall hunting season, and it's a hunt that does not demand a great deal of time away from home to fit it in. Stalking these speedy, alert animals across the relative open prairies, is action oriented, and a lot of fun.

We've also began our dove hunts, with the opener last Sunday. Though we do not conduct a large volume of dove hunts, we are fortunate to have access to a few good grain fields on the edge of town, here in San Angelo, with a good mix of mourning doves, whitewings, as well as a few Eurasian collared doves. We hosted a hunt for our good friends at Crockett National Bank on opening day, with most of their shooters collecting their daily bag limit.

We still have some great options to look at on our white-tailed deer hunts for this fall, so please let us know if you would like to consider booking a whitetail hunt for this upcoming season. Some good dates on quality properties are still available, so give us a shout.

We hope to hear from you. Keep well.

Cheers,

Your friends at WSI

New Mexico Pronghorn Hunts

Wildlife Systems offered pronghorn antelope hunts on the historic Day Ranch, which is located between Clayton and Raton, New Mexico.  This property is over 40,000 acres, and is great pronghorn country, known for its good numbers and quality horn characteristics.
