"Serving Hunters' & Landowners' Needs Since 1987"

25th Anniversary

February 26, 2013

Apologies for the delay in getting you a current WSI Play By Play. As you can see from the photos herein, our hunting pace has not slowed from our busy fall schedule. We have been hard at it with the flavor of the moment primarily consisting of nilgai, aoudad, as well as a few other exotics sprinkled in with the mix.

As you'll notice at the bottom of this PBP, we are also now set up where we can accept electronic checks. This provides our clients with another convenient option for paying for deposits or paying for their 30-day pre-pay balance fees. Additional details are listed below. Our payment policies for any "trophy fee" or add-on fees where monies are due at time of hunt remain the same with cash or credit card being our two accepted payment options on those occasions.

Hope each of you is doing well. We plan on having our next WSI ENews to you within the next 10 days, and we'll continue to provide some timely PBPs so that you can enjoy photos from our clients' hunts. Take care.

Cheers,

Your friends at WSI

AOUDAD HUNTS

Texas is home to more aoudad sheep than their native North Africa.  Aoudad's are exceptionally sporty animals, combining wary nature with tough physical hardiness. If you are truly interested in a great, challenging and rewarding experience, our free-range Texas aoudad sheep hunting may be your ticket.

Charles Crover (see his picture below) had this to say about his aoudad hunt, "I want to let you know I had a wonderful time on my aoudad hunt with your guides.  It was top notch service and accommodations.  Jackie, my guide, was great. He was helpful and knowledgeable.  My stalk on the "TOAD of a RAM" will be one of the most memorable I have been on. I didn't go hungry either.  Dave did an great job providing us with good meals and desserts".

 SCIMITAR-HORNED ORYX HUNT

We are permitted to legally hunt scimitar-horned oryx.  The H. Yturria Ranches have perhaps the largest herd of these unique African antelope, compromising 400+ animals.  Additionally, the O2 Ranch, where we conduct some of our aoudad sheep hunts, also has a thriving population, making it possible to possibly combine an aoudad and scimitar-horned oryx.

Additionally, we are permitted to hunt red lechwe and addax on H. Yturria Ranches, providing a unique opportunity that few properties offer on the same area.

Albert Fini, one of our oryx hunters, had this to say about his hunt, "We had a great week of hunting.  From the guides to the camp to the cook and the wildlife......everything was better than we expected.  It was very professional and we couldn't of asked for a better hunt.  From start to finish, everything was great and we comfortable and in good hands.  Thank you for your honesty and professionalism in a successful trip of a lifetime.
