SPECIAL EVENT
Meet Dr. Judith Orloff
Thursday, April 3, 2014,
7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
off-site at St. Luke's Church, 800 W 36th Street, next door to breathe books
Greetings!

I'm am truly thrilled that Dr. Judith Orloff is coming back to breathe books! She visited four years ago and her talk was so generous and genuine. She shared how to create the life you want by releasing old emotional patterns, and cleaning the psyche of negativity, and clearing the way for positive emotions to arise.  I know I was able to make several concrete changes and I owe the inspiration all to her.

Judith's new book goes even deeper into the art of letting go!
The Ecstasy of Surrender: How Letting Go Can Transform Your Life offers ways to live your life with more ease, with more fun and less drama. Would you like to stop pushing and micromanaging, so you can relax? What if you could enjoy what you have instead of always lusting for "more?" What if you could live in "the zone," propelled by intuition toward the right people and opportunities? If you answer "yes" to these questions and want lasting positive change, prepare to experience the ecstasy of surrender.

But isn't surrender all about giving up? Not according Judith. Though surrender may seem counter-intuitive to success--it's wrongly associated with weakness and defeat--knowing when to be assertive and when to let go is the secret to manifesting power, success, and intuition in all areas of life including work, relationships, sexuality, spirituality, radiant aging, and health. Otherwise you can sabotage success by being too pushy or a control freak. Surrendering removes roadblocks and the exhaustion that comes from "trying too hard," and it helps you achieve goals effortlessly and joyfully in the flow.

Learning to surrender is an invaluable skill for anyone who wants to live more fully in the moment and radiate an irresistible lightness of being. It's a positive intuitive way of living that increases power, inner peace, and ecstasy.

Here is a beautiful video with Judith and Ram Dass. And here is a bit from a PBS Special

In this talk Judith will discuss how to:
