Western Fairfax Christian Ministries would like to announce two events to support its programs to help the neediest in our community in their time of crisis. Financial and In-kind donations are vital to WFCM so that it can provide food, clothing, financial assistance, budget counseling to families experiencing financial hardship due to illness, loss of employment, or having difficulty meeting basic living expenses. You can be a source of hope for these families who are facing financial crises but are working hard to make 2013 a better year for their loved ones. Your financial and in-kind gifts provide more than help - it gives them the hope to persevere.

Paint with a Purpose, May 10, 11, and 12, 2013
at Clay Café in Chantilly
It's Fun! It's Easy! It's for a Purpose! Choose from a selection of unpainted bisque and paint it! It's the perfect outing with Mom for Mother's Day, or make a special gift for Dad for Father's Day! Cost is $20.00 per piece of pottery with $5.00 donated to WFCM. Clay Café is offering this special pricing to benefit WFCM. Funds go directly into supporting our programs to prevent homelessness and hunger in our community.

Swing by Pro Martial Arts in Chantilly to donate non-perishable food for WFCM's Food Pantry. Items needed include: Rice, Cereal, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Pasta, Spaghetti Sauce, Toiletries, or Diapers. Financial donations will also be accepted (cash or checks made payable to WFCM). All Donors will have the opportunity to break a board and try out their martial arts skills! 100% of the financial and food donations will go to support WFCM. WFCM helps provide food and support to families all across Western Fairfax County. In 2012, WFCM donated 34,000 bags of groceries and helped 732 households (including 962 children) in the community.
