Every month or so, we send you an e-mail chock-full of inspiring teachings, podcasts, blog entries, and resources to support you in your practice. Today I am turning to you to ask you for your support.
The focus of our end-of-the-year campaign has been gratitude. I am so grateful to be the director of the Institute because I firmly believe in this sacred work.
We live in a broken and confusing world. And yet, the Institute's wise and loving teachers help ground us, through Jewish practices, whether it be
meditation or teachings from Chasidic masters, prayer or yoga or a mindful approach to fine-tuning our attributes.
These practices give us tools for resilience, joy, and wisdom. They help us find deep sources of inner replenishment and inspire us to reach out to others with kindness and commitment.
Isn't that what we need in our world? And isn't that what we need in our Judaism? In our leaders, clergy, and volunteers, alike?
Imagine what the Jewish community could look like if our leaders embodied greater awareness, authenticity, courage, and presence. If more Jews had access to the riches of our spiritual traditions. If the inner transformation of openness and clarity led to a broader transformation in our communal culture, leading to greater respect, curiosity and gratitude.
If you, like me, have been personally touched by your experiences with the Institute or if you, too, are excited by the possibilities for transformation in our world, please make a generous gift to the Institute today.
We rely on your year-end gift to continue to provide retreats, teachings, and resources for you and for others who long for greater wholeness.
Thank you for your generosity!
