  1:30 p.m. Santa Arrives by Fire Truck at 8th and G Street, SE.

 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Shoe Hive is Open at   tabula  rasa, 731 8th Street, SE.  

There are non - stop activities along Barracks Row in December and Saturday, December 15 appears to be peak of the season.  

Restaurants will be open with holiday menus - and, with unseasonably warm weather predicted, lunch on one of our outdoor patios may be an option.  

Plan your day in the neighborhood around the visit by Santa  beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the corner of 8th and G Streets, SE. Ted's Bulletin will provide free snacks, a CSX toy train will be raffled to a lucky boy or girl visiting Santa tomorrow, caroling is provided by Hill Center's Ready for Prime Time Players beginning at 2:15 p.m. Barracks Row's photographer will be there all afternoon to capture the scene for parents to download later.
