Get involved and have fun sampling the dishes at some of Barracks Row's best restaurants.  Please join Barracks Row Main Street for its first big event of  the year, Taste of 8^th on Saturday, April 28^th 2012.   All volunteers receive tasting sample tickets and a T-shirt.

20 of our restaurants provide tasting samples in exchange for tickets. Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. All proceeds benefit Barracks Row Main Street. This is the perfect way to get up to speed on the cuisines of the new restaurants on the Row or those you haven't tried yet.

Volunteers are assigned to restaurants to help and collect tickets for a shift of two hours.  We need volunteers for two shifts, the first starting at 12:30 pm and ending at 2:30pm and the second shift starting at 2pm and ending at 4pm.  We are also looking for a few volunteers to help with set up starting at 11:30am

volunteertasteof8th@gmail.com  and include your name, contact information, t-shirt size (S, M, L, or XL) and preferred shift time.  If you already have a Barracks Row Volunteer t-shirt, it would be much appreciated if you wear it to this event so we have enough t-shirts for everyone.    Volunteer shift times requests are not guaranteed, but we will do our best to schedule everyone the shift they want.  If you are flexible, can work both shifts, already have a T-shirt or are volunteering with a group, please include that in the email.
