Card Shower for Davis
We're showering Davis with our prayers and good wishes as he leaves his position as senior pastor at FUMC! If you would like to send a card to Davis and Sherre with a personal message, baskets will be placed at the Welcome Center each Sunday through June 9th (Davis' last day here). The cards will be collected and given to them at their farewell reception on June 9th. |
Young Adult Ministry
All young adults are invited to join us at our upcoming events. We will attend the Gwinnett Braves game on May 21st and have our first worship service on Sunday evening, June 2nd. More details will be posted soon on the church website!

We are beginning to collect paper goods for Campmeeting, June 23rd - 27th. Please consider donating a few of these needed items: - dinner plates

- cold cups (Solo-type)
- hot cups (styrofoam)
Donations can be dropped off in the Welcome Center.

LEAP Career Fair
Are you a job seeker who wants to get in front of employers with jobs? Come to the LEAP/Crossroads Career Expo in the Family Center on May 23rd from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon. This is a collaborative effort between FUMCLV & the GA Department of Labor - Gwinnett. It is suggested that job seekers dress professionally and bring a pen.

Street Grace Class
Street Grace is sponsoring the Essentials of DMST (Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking) class for concerned citizens who want to work against the problem of commercial exploitation of children. The class is scheduled for June 13th from 6:30 - 9:30 pm in Room 300. It's filling up quickly, so don't delay!

Kids Crossing Learning Center is now enrolling for our Half Day Preschool for the 2013-2014 school year.

VBX Snack Donations

MUST Summer Lunches
 Again this summer, the church will be partnering with MUST Ministries to help with their summer lunch program. We will help provide daily lunches to local children in need.
We need donations of these items: - Individually packaged snacks (salty & sweet)
- Juice boxes
- Ziploc sandwich bags
