CPR/AED/First Aid
Our next CPR/AED/First Aid class will be May 4th from 9 am - 1 pm in Room 336-338.
This course provides certification in CPR, First Aid, and the use of AED devices. To register, contact Nancy Ford. Cost: $22

Men's Breakfast
 Our next men's breakfast will be Sunday, May 5th in the Family Center at 6:45 am. Rev. Davis Chappell will be speaking about "Just One More Thing and Then I'm Done..." Come feed your soul on the Bread of Life and enjoy a hearty breakfast. Invite a friend and your breakfast is on us!

Mother's Day Carnations
Would you like to purchase a red carnation in honor of your mom, a friend or a loved one? Or a white carnation in memory of a friend or loved one? Sales continue through this Sunday, May 5th in the Family Center. Proceeds benefit local missions through the United Methodist Women. Cost: $1.50 each

College Grad Recognition
We will be honoring our soon-to-be college graduates with a special bulletin insert on Sunday, May 19th. Please email your name(s), your graduate's name, college/university name, and degree to Sue Jefcoat by Friday, May 10th. Names submitted after this date will not be included in the insert. |
Memorials Scholarship
The Memorials Committee is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2013-2014 school year.
Applications are available in the Warehouse and Church Office. All applications and supporting documentation are due by May 31st.
If you are interested in helping support the scholarship fund, please mark your donation for the "Memorials Scholarship Fund."

We are beginning to collect paper goods for Campmeeting, June 23rd - 27th. Please consider donating a few of these needed items: - dinner plates

Prayer on the Square
The National Day of Prayer is TODAY, May 2nd. We invite you to join local churches as we pray publicly, across denominational lines, for our country and its leaders, our communities, and our families. We will meet at the gazebo next to the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse at 7:00 pm.

Lawrenceville Prayer Walk
Join us for our next prayer walk on Saturday, May 4th. We will meet at the gazebo on the square at 11 am. We will walk to area businesses to learn how we can pray for them. Everyone is invited!

Cooking for a Cause
The Relay For Life cookbook, Cooking for a Cause, will go to print soon! If you would like to submit a recipe, either drop it off at the Relay table in the Family Center on Sunday or email it to Helon Gragg. The deadline to submit recipes for publication is May 10th.

Kids Crossing Learning Center is now enrolling for our Half Day Preschool for the 2013-2014 school year.

VBX Teacher Meetings
Believe it or not, VBX is just around the corner and it's time to learn all about your teaching assignment! Our meetings are on Wednesday, May 8th, at either 10-11 am or 7-8 pm in the Kids Zone Studio. You'll receive your teaching material, get some safety tips, learn the theme song by Jamie Grace, and maybe win a fun prize! Please do your best to attend one of these meetings. Nursery will be available. Please RSVP to the email below as to which session you will attend and if you will need nursery.
