NWSA high school theater alumna, has just been cast to play the narcissistic younger sister of Michael J. Fox "Mike Burnaby," in the new NBC series
The Hollywood Reporter. Slated to premiere this fall, the 22-episode series was inspired by Fox's real life health condition as he personifies a former lead anchor at a local station in New York City who decides to go back to work after Parkinson's forced him to take time off. The husband and father of three deals with family, career and challenges, including his own disease.

NWSA BFA music theater alumna, was recently featured in
Artburst.com for an initiative that is changing the lives of children in Miami's Little Haiti... and beyond.
With after-school and evening classes, "MAD Dance", the performing arts program she created in 2011 along with her husband, services children 5-12 who are interested in the arts by offering training in ballet, hip-hop and salsa to lessons in singing and acting. With classes seven days a week, the program serves some 120 children - about half of them on scholarship - Dade and Broward.

Welcome to the Family Joey, who has also starred in Glee, Vegas, and Awkward, will assume the role of "Junior Hernandez," a young Latino man who quickly falls in love after the unplanned pregnancy of his white girlfriend.

NWSA high school music theater alumna, is in Douglas Carter Beane's new Broadway play
The Nance, featuring Broadway star Nathan Lane. In the role of "Carmen," Burns highlights that this production is "hilarious, it's poignant, it's moving and it's powerful." Andrea also starred in the 2008 Tony-award winning Broadway musical "In the Heights" as "Daniela," alongside fellow alumni Nina Lafarga and Alex Lacamoire.
Charlie Sutton,
NWSA high school music theater alum, is also taking Broadway by storm as he stars in Jerry Mitchell's new musical production
Kinky Boots. The musical follows "Charlie Price," who is forced to save his family's shoe factory in Northern England after the sudden death of his father. Charlie finds inspiration in Lola, a fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos. Sutton has appeared in nine Main Stem musicals, including "Wicked," "La Cage" and "How to Succeed in Business."
NWSA high school music alum,
Wilkie Ferguson, stars as an ensemble member in the new Broadway musical
Motown. Ferguson has also starred on Broadway in the 2012 Tony-award winner The Gershwins' "Porgy and Bess," and "Wonderland;" and off-Broadway in "Cotton Club Parade." Touring credits include "In The Heights," "Hairspray," and "Dreamgirls."
NWSA BFA visual arts alum,
Camilo Rojas, beautifully merges natural citiscape with spray paint on a concrete wall to create
Get Out There, a site-specific typographic installation from the ongoing "Type Everything." Camilo uses nontraditional methods in place of the more classic screen-print-on-paper style. Syringes & needles, clothing tags, Swarovski crystals, ice, wine corks, condoms, and cigarettes are just some of the materials he uses to inspire, convey powerful statements, raise awareness and start a conversation.
