Dear Readers:
The MEG and LOCH movies are progressing, with both targeting the summer of 2015. Which one will hit theaters first? I don't know. Which creates a dilemma - which sequel should I write first - MEG 5: Night Stalkers or The LOCH-2: VOSTOK? Then a unique storyline idea hit me - something radical. What if Jonas Taylor and Zachary Wallace were bound together in a secret mission in Antarctica (LOCH-2) right after Jonas crossed paths with a Meg in the Mariana Trench (MEG: Origins). Then, in MEG 5: Night Stalkers the aftermath of that mission would impact the final MEG book. In other words, the story in LOCH-2 sets up for MEG-5. By penning the books in this order, I'd also be able to unleash a monster that dominated the seas alongside Meg - a newly discovered creature that will challenge even Angel's surviving brood.

If you follow me on Facebook, then you know that last week I began a campaign to introduce a new author: L. A. KNIGHT. L.A. wrote a very funny romantic comedy (more Wedding Crashers than chick-lit) called DOG TRAINING THE AMERICAN MALE. The story is about a radio host of a women's talk show who uses dog training techniques to domesticate her live-in boyfriend, empower her listeners, and raise ratings.

Now a confession... I am L.A. Knight.
I've always enjoyed writing comedy. A few years ago I wrote several comedy scripts that were finalists in screenwriting contests but were never taken out on the market. My father, Lawrence Alten (L.A.) believed that laughter is the best medicine. He gave me my sense of humor and a lifetime of love and wisdom and left us far too soon. Penning DOG TRAINING was therapy for me following his passing from melanoma. The book is so radically different from my other work that I was told by my keepers that it must be written under a pseudonym.
So why am I spilling my guts like a politician in confession? First, because I've never ever been dishonest with my wonderful readers and Second, because if I'm interviewed on TV then who am I supposed to be?
So there it is... I am Ironman. . .I mean, L.A. Knight. A name I chose to honor a kind, wonderful man who was our family's knight in shining armor. WARNING: The novel is PG-17. So if you are a young MEG fan DON'T READ IT. You can buy it, just don't read it.
