For Cub Scout Pack 210 it is Pinewood Derby Time!

Not all of our Scouts have access to basic power tools to rough cut their car design.  Pack 210 held a Pinewood Pitstop Party to assist these young designers on Monday, January 18th.  Scouter Jose Lugo brought a band saw, a belt sander, and a drum sander to get attendees a good start towards making a winning car.  Assistant Cubmaster Jeff Ketts and Webelos 2 Leader David Manselle assisted.  If you would like to see the results, stop by the Fellowship Hall on January 29th.  Races on our brand new 4 lane track will start around 7 pm.  It is going to be a great night for racing!

We are looking to add additional leaders
to our Children's Church rotation for both services.  Lessons are given to you ahead
of time to make for easy preparation.

Commitment time is low as you would only
be asked to teach one Sunday
every 2-3 months.  For more information please contact Jamie Johnson or Sue Norton.
Parents please help keep our littlest church members safe in the nursery
by remembering that our nursery should only be for children
three years old and younger.  Children who are four years old and older are invited to come to "Big Church" and will then be dismissed for Children's Church.  Thank you for your help!

This year the United Methodist Women's Prayer and Self Denial Program, Women at Work Worldwide, focuses on economic justice and empowerment for women around the globe. We will learn the importance of our giving to efforts that help the world's women have self affirming work  whereby they can support their families. We will interpret the legacy of our ministry of justice and learn how we help to empower women, children, and youth across our Earth. We will meet in the chapel at 7:00 PM on February 1st. Come and see what United Methodist Women support. We will take an offering to help support these activities.

A new United Methodist Women's Circle lead by Jamie Wiggins and Tracy Winsor has begun meeting. "C.O.F.F.E.E." stands for "Christ Offers Forgiveness For Everyone Everywhere". A multi-generational group of women, they are intent on accepting anyone and everyone. Currently they meet on the third Wednesday of the month, 7:00p, at Axum Coffee. Their community mission is collecting for "Caps of Love".
